Many technology companies, web designers and web and
software developers
don't want you to know the how's and why's because it allows them to
convince you to buy things you don't need. For example, many web sites have
what is known as a "Splash Screen". This is usually created with a
technology called Flash.

Splash Screen is just one more step between your customer and your E-mail
